One mark of a civilized society is that it has a functioning, inclusive and advanced healthcare system. People with serious health problems tend to have a far lower quality of life. They may suffer from restrictions that prevent them from earning money, enjoying family, sports, travel – things most of us take for granted. If they do not have supportive friend sand family they may feel abandoned and worthless.
We need a healthcare system that will provide quality treatment and help people resume or adopt healthy, fulfilling lives. For the economy, it is vital to have a healthy workforce, but more importantly the happiness of people depends upon it. .
