GOVERNMENT OVERSIGHT
Every day and night, public hearings are taking place that have a direct, often immediate impact on the quality of life in our communities—planning and approving major projects like schools, parks, sewers or industrial projects. Hearings at the town, county, state, and federal level are opportunities for individuals to be heard and to keep an eye on common interests. People need to get involved to make sure decisions are made with consideration of all parties’ 22Things members can make a big difference by infor
ming themselves about the issues under public discussion and making their voices heard.
